At Trapped Doll, every piece is custom-made and carefully created by hand. Production timelines may vary depending on project complexity, revision requests, order volume, and approval times.

 

Orders Paid in Full

Paid-in-full orders are prioritized first in the production queue.

Estimated Production Timeline

​

1. Digital Sculpting & Design
Creating and sculpting your custom digital file typically takes approximately 9–15 business days.

Please note:

• Timeline variations depend on project complexity

• Additional revision requests may extend completion times

• Production moves forward once the client approves the final digital sculpture

 

2. 3D Printing Process

For pieces sized approximately 6 inches to 11.5 inches, printing generally takes: Life-size prints add on a week or two.

• 8–16 hours for printing

• An additional 24–48 hours for processing and finishing, including sanding, curing, and preparation

 

3. Painting & Final Finishing

Hand painting and final detailing typically require:

• Approximately 3–4 business days

 

Estimated Total Timeline (Paid in Full Orders)

Most paid-in-full custom orders are completed within approximately:

3–5 weeks total

 

This estimate may vary depending on:

• Revision requests

• Size and complexity

• Production queue volume

• Material availability

• Shipping timelines

• Holidays or high-demand periods

 

Deposit Orders

Orders placed with a deposit instead of full payment will experience a longer turnaround time.

While initial design preparation or scheduling may begin after the deposit is received, full production and printing will NOT begin until the remaining invoice balance has been paid in full.

Because paid-in-full orders are prioritized first, deposit orders may be delayed until:

• Remaining balances are completed

• Production slots become available

 

Final turnaround times for deposit orders depend heavily on how quickly the remaining invoice balance is paid.
